Prophetic Dawah: Connecting Creation to the Creator

£39.00

[Prophet], call [people] to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good teaching. Argue with them in the most courteous way, for your Lord knows best who has strayed from His way and who is rightly guided. (16:125)

The quran is full of stories of past nations. God Almighty sent his Prophets to help guide people. They called their people to the worship of the one True God. With the passage of time as people strayed further from the truth, more Prophets were sent to bring them back to the right path. With the coming of the last Prophet ﷺ the long line of Prophets ended. With mankind in ever need of guidance, the responsibility of the noble task of calling people to the truth (Dawah) fell on the shoulders of the followers of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ i.e his ummah.

This ummah has been blessed with not only being from the greatest of all Prophets, but of also partaking in the most noblest of all roles, the role of Prophets: Dawah. Given the importance of Dawah in our faith, it is imperative to understand this topic deeply and rooted in the Prophetic model.

What is dawah?
How did the Prophet ﷺ call people to God?
What are the principles of Prophetic dawah?
How do ordinary people become people of dawah?
How can we do dawah in our daily lives without the need for specialised knowledge?
How is success judged in dawah?
Where do people engaged in “dawah” get it wrong?
How to give dawah effectively to family members who are unresponsive
